START TOGETHER
Some couples want a pre-nup before they get married so that, if they decide to separate in future, they have clarity about how their finances should be treated. But they don’t want to be forced into an adversarial process to do it. We’ve taken what we know about advising separating couples together and applied it to prenups. Here’s how it works:
HOW IT WORKS
You can now jointly instruct one of our solicitors to collate your financial information and understand your aims, before being advised together by a specialist family law barrister, who drafts the pre-nup for you.
Following receipt of the pre-nup, you each arrange a one-off meeting separately with a solicitor or barrister of your choice to review the agreement from your individual perspectives.
The service is also available for post-nups.
FEES
In line with our fees ethos, the service is a fixed fee of £10,200 (incl VAT) per couple, assuming assets of £25m or less. For more complex cases a bespoke fixed fee quote can be provided.
The benefit of this new approach is that you can work together throughout our process, only requiring separate advice at the end – as opposed to working separately at a time you most want to work together.
