Courts and Tribunals Judiciary – The Road Ahead

The President of the Family Division has published The Road Ahead, emphasising that Covid restrictions will be in place in Courts for many months to come, and that in every case parties, judges and professionals must look to whether the dispute can be resolved outside the court setting:

‘In all Family cases, regard should always be had to alternative means of dispute resolution. At a time when it is clear that the court will struggle to cope with the volume of cases in a restricted working environment, it is all the more important that parties, legal advisers and the judiciary should have express regard to all forms of non-court dispute resolution.’

The Divorce Surgery is listed by the Family Courts as a best practice route for settling cases out of court. We operate an end-to-end remote service and can help separating couples at all stages of their divorce process, from first contemplating separation to needing a way out of protracted and expensive court litigation.
