Pets & Divorce

Pets and divorce. Not always an easy combination, and often an area in which pet owners feel the law is unduly restrictive and does not reflect the crucial role their pet plays in their family lives. This article by Michael Allum and Feriha Tayfur in this week’s Family Law is a great summary of the legal position.

As ever, a bespoke solution, agreed together, is always best if it can be achieved. And whilst we haven’t yet had any of our couples bring their dogs to our Advice Sessions, we are certainly open to the idea 😉
