The Increasing Desire For Amicable Divorces

When we launched The Divorce Surgery there was huge professional support but also some healthy scepticism- was there going to be client demand for joint legal advice? Were divorcing couples, in fact, hard-wired to seek out a battle? It is so pleasing to see that is not the case. In this recent poll, 74% of divorcing couples say they want to “keep things civil”.

Separating couples want joint advice, and other law firms are now creating their own versions of this service to respond to the demand. Divorcing couples need options to work together: the more, the better.
